So where is Delilah now? Delilah is officially adopted! BY US!!! Yes that's right Delilah became what is known as a "foster failure". We absolutely fell in love with her and when she had finally recovered from surgery and become ready to be adopted there was no way we were going to let her go. She is just too special to us!
After her hip surgery she spent a few months healing and rehabilitating. Friends of ours allowed us to bring her over to swim in their pools for water therapy. In the water she could really move that hip and loosen it up. She had lots of regular doses of Glucosamine. She had to take it easy and resist the urge to romp and play with her brother and sister. But it was all worth it the day we were finally able to take her out on her FIRST WALK!
Delilah fits right in with us! She is nearly the exact same size as her brother and sister and they all really enjoy each other. She has added so much joy to our lives! She is a silly girl and she shows us every day how grateful and happy she is to be with us and living in our home. We are so glad Delilah got her second chance because we are lucky to have her!
